Featuring artworks by Beechworth Arts Council members across a range of mediums (print, painting, drawing, textiles, sculpture etc.), ART in Autumn promises a riot of colour and form reflecting Mother Nature’s last fling before her well earned winter slumber. This exciting exhibition will be housed in Beechworth’s historic Town Hall, for four days ONLY from Thursday 04 May through to Sunday 07 May.

Art in Autumn is thrilled to welcome local ceramic artist, Dianne Mangan as exhibition curator. Ms Mangan takes on this important role with a résumé that includes founding and operating Off Centre Gallery in Milawa, and an eighteen and half year tenure as Director of the Wangaratta Art Gallery. Along with a host of Private Collectors, Dianne Mangan’s art can be found in collections of The New Parliament House (ACT), Powerhouse Museum (Sydney, NSW) and Queen Victoria Museum (Launceston, Tasmania).

Art patrons who visit ART in Autumn will be encouraged to cast their vote in the inaugural People’s Choice Award. The lucky winner of this accolade will see their artwork and biography featured as pride of place among the Pantheon of regional artists currently showcased on the Beechworth Arts Council website.
